Welcome to my blog. I plan to post good healthy creative vegetarian dishes daily as I cook them and I hope you will want to try out my dishes and cook them for yourselves.
I have looked at many blogs and vegetarian cookbooks and the recipes are either bland or they require ingredients that one does not as a rule have available in your kitchen. Another problem that I encountered was that while there were plenty of recipes out there, there was no place where someone actually guided you as to what goes with what so that you can plan a whole meal instead of just one dish.
I plan to cook a meal daily using just common ingredients but to use it in a way that is creative and tasty. A vegetarian diet does not have to be boring and neither does it have to consist just of salads. There are many things one can do with vegetables and other vegetarian foods. And I will be putting together whole meals with dishes that compliment one another, not just one basic dish.
I invite you to join me on my journey as for the next year from the 1st of December I am going to post a recipe daily of the meal that I cooked the day before, hopefully with snapshots as I go along, although at this stage I only have my cell phone to use as a camera and I have to buy the attachment that will allow me to download my images onto my computer.
If you want to cook along, I would appreciate your feedback on the difficulties you encounter if any, as well as your thoughts on what the meals tasted like.
