Basil Pesto

This pesto is nice to use as a salad dressing, over baked potatoes, or as is in pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • rock salt
  • olive oil
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • pine nuts (optional)

Method

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth
