Pan Fried Green Beans

- 1 cup green beans topped and tailed
- rock salt
- olive oil
Method
- Blanche the beans in boiling water for 5 minutes then rinse it under a cold tap.
- Drizzle some olive oil in a pan and heat it to medium high
- Once the pan is hot enough stir fry the beans for another 5 minutes and add the rock salt while it is busy cooking
- Serve warm
Serves 2
You can add garlic to the beans to enhance the flavours if you like. A squeeze of lemon juice will also enhance the favour and the natural sugars in the lemon juice will help the beans to brown a bit.
