Pan Fried Green Beans

  • 1 cup green beans topped and tailed
  • rock salt
  • olive oil

Method

  1. Blanche the beans in boiling water for 5 minutes then rinse it under a cold tap.
  2. Drizzle some olive oil in a pan and heat it to medium high
  3. Once the pan is hot enough stir fry the beans for another 5 minutes and add the rock salt while it is busy cooking
  4. Serve warm

Serves 2

You can add garlic to the beans to enhance the flavours if you like. A squeeze of lemon juice will also enhance the favour and the natural sugars in the lemon juice will help the beans to brown a bit.
